Volunteers

Welcome!

The Wairarapa Garden Tour relies on a great crew of volunteers to ensure a safe, fun and successful experience for our garden tourers. It’s a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the event.

Volunteers help with ticket checking, parking, and health and safety – all roles are based outside. A volunteer shift is four hours.

Join Us

There are three simple steps:

Step 1. Download the Volunteer Code of Conduct and read it closely.

Step 2. Complete the online registration form.
Note: some questions are optional – these help us build a clearer picture of our volunteer audience.

Step 3. Wait for an email response to let you know your assigned volunteer shift and garden.

[If you have volunteered for the Wairarapa Garden Tour in previous years, we start afresh each year. Please renew your volunteer registration. This is for health & safety purposes and to sure all contact details are current]

Volunteer Briefing

A face-to-face volunteer briefing will be held at:

3.00pm on Sat 20 October 2024
at the Greytown Town Hall (Library building) – Google Maps.
