The Loc House
75 Underhill Road, Featherston
The garden survives on very limited water due to the heavy mulching Bronwyn employs to preserve moisture from pea straw, dark bark mulch as well as shredded mulch she is experimenting with what produces the best results for each part of her garden.
Bronwyn has lots of future plans for the garden, particularly putting in a drip water system under the mulch. More propagation of the existing plants, sowing the wild flower garden in the back of the property and getting to the point of maintenance rather than creation. Her dream is to have a little shop selling plants and coffee and organising tours of the garden once it is complete.
Bronwyn will have plants from her garden for sale and there will be a coffee cart on site. We’ve done things a little different with this garden, here are the before pics… and a little taste of what you’ll get to see now
